Hatake Clan is a Clan of Ninja who have been through many intense battles with powerful Kekei Genkai users and Secret Society clans prior to the establishment of Konohagakure. Among them the Uchiha, Yamanaka, Senju, Hyuuga, Aburame, Sarutobi, Yamanaka, Nara, Akimichi. They are rumored to have family ties with the Inuzuka Clan and currently are the main breeders of what is known as Nin-Ken (Ninja Hounds/Dogs).
Over time this has led the clan to develop techniques based on their opponents to counter their special abilities, this has led to an evolution-like working of the Hatake Genes resulting in them becoming the number one weapon against many various types of Kekei Genkai such as Eye Techniques and Ranged abilities.

They are well known for always pushing their opponents to the very limit of their ability. Accurate as a Hawk, Fast as a Cheetah, Cunning as a Fox and Deadly as a Bolt of Lightning. The Hatake Clan is respected and even feared by many. Their primary power lies withing a special form of contract with the Nin-Dogs. These dogs serve as their companions from birth to death.

This Clan was forged a long time ago but for many years members of this Clan remained distant from one another, the family tree seemed to spread out and hold little if any connections to others, not long ago it even seemed like the Hatake Clan was going to be a band of lone wolfs and lose their status as a Clan.
But one man stood up and organized these lone wolves into a well structured pack, Hatake Sakumo.

It was this very man that is seen as the founder of the Hatake Clan even though he is not the one who the bloodline originates from he was the one to unite those with the Shiroi Chakra into a Clan. His ideals were those of companionship, teamwork and care, he saw his comrades as more important than any mission and especially so his clansmen explaining this with the following quote;

" Even though a single wolf can easily survive on it's own, two wolves together are not twice but four times as strong together as when they are alone. That is why wolves form packs. Imagine how much stronger we shall be if we will be many, instead of one, just like the wolves. Just like this Village."

This was his most known phrase that led him to become the leader of the Clan in his younger days. Later Hatake Sakumo sacrificed a mission for the safety of his companions and his ideals betrayed him as it led to an expansion of an already large war.
Not being able to take the shame Sakumo took his own life. When his son Kakashi became 18 he inherited the position of Clan Leader and told everyone that despite what was said, he still considers his father a hero, because despite all pressure he stood his ground, suffered and died for the ideals of the Hatake Clan.
Kakashi got a very positive response to these words from the Clan and due to the political pressure the members of the Clan put on the Village Council Hatake Sakumo was no longer considered a traitor but was given the status of a fallen hero of the Leaf Village.
Still due to their long-time abandonment of the Clan status the Hatake Clan is among one of the smallest Clan's in Konohagakure and slowly growing, yet they still have the status of being the best option for Hunter-nin.

Altered Starting Conditions:

The Hatake Clan member starts off with - 17 CP for social skills, this however starts them off with Animal Ken Skill rank C.
The Hatake Clan member starts off with - 10 CP for their starting stats which went into training the Ninken.
The Hatake Clan member starts off having 8 Ninken of their choice as described in the Clan Special below.
Aside from this they start as any other normal character.

Shiroi Chakra - White Chakra

Trying to imitate the techniques of the Yamanaka, Nara, Hyuuga and Sarutobi Clan the members of the Hatake Clan began experimenting with various types of chakra manipulation learning to thin out their chakra precisely among Yin and Yang type chakra this together with their attempts to imitate the Hyuuga Clan's unique chakra caused them to eventually develop a unique chakra of their own, the Shiroi Chakra. Born with this chakra running through their veins the Hatake Clan members gain not only their trademark white and gray hair they also gain the following bonuses as long as they have active chakra in their system;

FCS boost of 35%
SPD boost of 35%
Increased sense of smell and hearing that enables them to navigate and sense incoming attacks or moves even if blinded. + 3 on all sensory rolls.

For the price of 20 chakra per round the Hatake Clan Members can double these effects.

Ninken - Nin Dogs


Known as the main breeders of Ninken the Hatake Clan each breed and utilize a full team of these ninja hounds to aid them in combat. Throughout their years of experience the Hatake managed to develop various types of different Ninken with unique traits and abilities for them to breed. It is rumored that this breeding process eventually led to the forming of the Inuzuka Clan and the two Clan's breaking apart into two.

The Clan member gets 8 Ninken at start which they can then train over time. They can choose to have these Ninken travel along with them. Or, if in posession of a summoning scroll and Kuchiyose no Jutsu summon them from their home all together, a few select ones or one at a time.

The Ninken start off fairly weak and the Clan member has to use their own CP in oder to train them. However it only takes half the normal CP in order to level these ninja dogs.

The Clan member can have up to two of each type of Ninken aside from the Mastermind Ninken of which only one is allowed ;
