The Uzumaki clan (うずまき一族, Uzumaki Ichizoku) was a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. They were distant blood relatives of the Senju clan and as such, both were on good terms; an alliance that extended onto their hidden villages — Konohagakure and Uzushiogakure. The shinobi of Konoha integrated Uzushiogakure's symbol onto their uniforms and flak jackets as well as on the shoulders of their uniforms as a sign of friendship and goodwill between the two villages, and continue to do so to this day, in memory of their friendship even years after Uzushiogakure's destruction.

Members of this clan were very knowledgeable in the art of fūinjutsu, and were both respected, and feared worldwide because of their prodigious skill. Though noted to be crude in their methods, this however, eventually led to the destruction of Uzushiogakure and the rest of the Land of Whirlpools during the era of Shinobi World Wars, as other nations had begun to see the village as too great a threat to go unchecked. With the destruction of their homeland, the remaining survivors of Uzushiogakure fled their homeland and went into hiding, scattered all around the world. But most of the Clan members fled to Konoha where they reside nowadays.
Structures were built both in, and around the village such as the Uzumaki Clan's Mask Storage Temple.

Red hair is a common trait among the members of the Uzumaki clan but half-breeds tend to take on a blond hair-color.

Altered Starting Conditions:

Although Uzumaki Clan is known for it's highly skilled use of Fuuin Jutsu non of the clan members are actively pressured to study them unless they want to. meaning there are no altered starting conditions for Uzumaki.

The Uzumaki Clan members posses unique vitality which grants them very long lives if they do not abuse the healing effects this vitality gives them. Their bodies heal much faster than normal people and their reserves of energy seem unmatched by any. It is said that this is due to their blood always being charged with chakra.
Due to this the Uzumaki made themselves masters of Fuuin Jutsu as sealing techniques are known to be more powerful when performed with blood rather than ink and in their case even more powerful due to their blood itself containing chakra and high life force.
This gives them the following bonuses;

Double PE regeneration.

They heal up to 1 point of HP every 2 rounds (this does not heal HP that is tied to a wound or has been used as sacrifice for chakra.)

Their wounds heal 3 times faster than usual.

Instead of the regular 20 Chakra a shinobi gains from sacrificing 1 point of HP the members of the Uzumaki Clan instead gain the double amount, thus 40.

Fuuin Jutsu used in conjunction with the Uzumaki's blood are twice as powerful and usually require less limitations to perform.

Uzumaki Clan's Mask Storage Temple

This temple build on the outskirts of Konoha holds a multitude of Oni masks that seemingly can do little more than regular masks. But those who know better are aware that specific masks in the temple allow the user to gain momentary ritual control over higher deities for the purpose of high level Fuuin Jutsu and other ritual techniques.
Other masks can teach the user certain special Sealing techniques and time space techniques through communication with higher deities. However the fact remains that most of these masks are just ordinary masks, while those that aren't require a special form of awakening before they become useful as such. Only a select few members of the Uzumaki Clan know the exact masks and how to awaken them and even fewer non-clan members are aware of these secrets.
