Chapter 6 Team Sakena: Put up or Shut up.

Kenshi might have been of no help when it came to medical things but when Sakena started talking to Mana about sniffing out explosive tags he would realise that seals and tags were in fact his forte, or at least that of his clan. In fact more so than Sakena once his eyes fell upon the seal on the left-over piece of scroll he would realize the same things Sakena did, it was a remotely detonated explosion caused by an individual who had to be within 25 meters of the spot to detonate it, also he'd need to have a good view on the location. Getting a good view would be hard, one would be ontop of the Hokage Mountain, on the Stairs, On the Hokage faces, or in one of the buildings from which he or she could look inside through the air and window holes in the statue faces with a binocular or other type of scope.
"Sakena-hime! Sakena-hime! It's Suyaka-chan!" A girl exclaimed "Risetti-chan, Tomoe-kun and Genchi-kun are here with me too...but something attacked Tomoe-kun and now he is not moving...please hurry Sakena-hime! I'm scared." The little girl seemed to be the bravest among her peers that were trapped in the walkway behind the rubble as she was the only one talking, even though softly and scared with a shaky voice. The others just seemed to sob and mumble incoherent things.One of the ANBU would stop in it's tracks hearing the girl say that one of the boys got attacked by 'something' . "What do you mean....something? Is someone else in there with you? A person? An Animal? What's going on in there?" The ANBU's voice sounded nervous but he would gulp and stop himself realizing he should be re-assuring the kids rather than showing her own worries to them. Realising this the ANBU would give an apologetic nod to Sakena but then the little girl replied again.
"I can't see very far, I only have a little flashlight with me. But something pushed Tomoe-kun to the ground earlier, we couldn't see what. It's gone now, though. I can't see anyone else here but us 4." She said.

Tenshi would successfuly bandage up the kids outside which got hurt trying to escape but then the Academy teacher holding an arm to his abdoment would approach her walking slowly and stiff from the pain would waddle her way. Despite the fact that he was looking rather hurt the way he walked and the black spots on his hand and face including the trail of blood from his lips, the man had a broad smile on his face and even chuckled happily as he approached the young Haruno Genin.
"Well hello there little one. Mind taking a look at me too?" He asked letting himself drop beside her with a loud grunt, tensing up a little bit from the pain as he landed but forced himself to smile again. "I'm so glad you guys came quickly. I was afraid I'd be left to fend for these kids on my own." It was then that Tenshi saw that the Academy teacher's back was busted open and bleeding , it would then hit her how he had gotten the wounds. he acted as a short-term temporary roof from the debris for the students that were now out and not trapped. Taking the damage himself to save them. And indeed him being a trained shinobi he could handle it and survive, despite the immense pain, the kids would have definately not made it. But the honest smile on the man's face showed he was happy with his decision.

One of the ANBU would nod to Sakena and perform handseals to Shunshin himself away afther speaking.
"I shall inform the Hokage right away. The culprit must not escape."

Tenshi was shocked. The poor man had to be in so much pain.
Please, lie down. I will do what I can to stop the bleeding.

She gathered Chakra in her system. She wanted to help this man, reward him for protecting the children. Give him a chance to live!
As soon as the man lay before her she tried to clean the wound and concentrated.
Chiyoshou no Jutsu!

Please, please let him live...

Kenshi noticed the explosive tags and that confirmed to him that Sakena was right about this being no accident. He remembered reading something about a jutsu which could detonate these tags from a distance. The user had to be within 25 meters. So Sakena could be right about the culprit still being nearby. They came there by the stairs so there is a small chance that the culprit would have been there. So the other option is that he/she was somewhere up here.

Kenshi listened to what the children had to say about their situation. The moment that the girl said that something attacked a boy he started thinking that the culprit might have done that. It was within range and he had vision over what was happening. But maybe he messed up a bit and he got himself stuck.

Kenshi walked closer towards the entrance that Sakena made in the rubble. "Sakena-sensei, maybe the one who did all this was also the one that attacked that boy. And if that happens to be the case than he should be somewhere in the cave." He hoped he informed Sakena with some useful information. He wasn't sure that what he said was right but if he was than it could be very useful. Kenshi would help the kids getting through the hole so they could get out of the cave. While helping them he would continue looking for any clues that he could see from his position.

Tenshi would be done with bandading up the damaged kids that were saved and proceeded using her medical technique on the back of the Academy teacher who gasped for air when the effects of the technique kicked in. His bleeding would stop and the wound would be temporarily stabilized as that is what the technique does. It didn't really heal the damage, but at least it didn't allow it to get any worse for now and gave the fresh Genin some time to think. She realized she needed most of her concentration for this and so thinking of a solution would be harder, much like it was to keep a track on her surroundings, she was in a vulnerable position in the case of an attack right now.
But at least this gave her time to think and eliviated the pain from the man at the moment.
His back bruised and bleeding from multiple rocks having fallen ontop of him a few having teared through his flak-jacket and another few then having landed on the openings busting him open. He was sitting with his back facing Tenshi breathing relieved now.
"Thank you, young girl...whatever it is you're doing...it feels a lot better."
He would smile.
(As you were adviced by blue you can request a roll for situations like this as to how to solve the problem, but you need to place a request. For this time I shall assume as if you did and do a medicine skill check for you. )

(Tenshi realizes she should first find something clean and dry to clean up the wound and to then put up against the wounded location, while her Jutsu would keep the bleeding from proceeding she could bandage the man up afther disinfecting the wound. He would then need to go towards the hospital as fast as possible as it seemed the wound might get infected otherwise, as she could disinfect it on the spot but not sophicially enough to be certain.)

As Sakena would crush the rock by skillfully applying her chakra using the Gouwan in such a fashion that Tenshi had not seen it in before, applying precision and great accuracy rather than just letting it burst out. The little girl would nod to the Jounin and would quickly make way towards the exit where the ANBU and Kenshi would be ready to receive them and help them out.

As Sakena would be checking on the boy strangely enough to her he wouldn't seem to be damaged at all, in fact he seemed even less damaged than any of the other kids that didn't even get hit by the rubble but simply got trapped in by it. Not even some smudge on his face like with most the others. His pulse was in check...no wait...it was quite rapid in fact, he had the pulse of someone that would be sprinting but aside from his heavy breathing that sounded rather deep and nervous and slightly irregular the boy didn't seem to be moving that much aside from maybe little convulsions. That is when Sakena would notice an Uchiha emblem on the boy's clothing, just as her fingers would be brushing over his neck to feel his pulse she would feel her fingers rubbing over something that didn't feel like it was skin.

Hoping that the children would start climbing through the rubble, Sakena would pick the boy up in her arms casting a Sedative jutsu on him to calm his irregular heart rhythm.

Once her form was by the debris Sakena turned the boy slightly examining the slime on his neck...her eyes would enlarge as she tucked and rolled through the opening with Tomoe in her arms and call to ANBU, "Where is the Hokage....Uchiha Sora....?!"


"Hai Sensei..." The quick thinking young Genin, Hatake Mana would call for her K-9's to come to the aid of the mission at stake.

"Alright you, I want you to sniff out any possible scents that could point us in the direction of who was to blame here...Report back in ten minutes." She waved her hand out dispersing the animals to do her bidding while she herself walked beside Kenshi to assess the disaster in the caves of Konoha.

"Kenshi kun, why do you think they would do something...like this?" Her voice was low with her eyes gazing about the structure moving smaller rocks to the side trying to get any feel of different temperatures.

Her guard being up, she felt the hair on her neck stand up as Sakena was motioning for the children to crawl through the opening..."Here...take my hand!" She would grab one childs hand pulling them off from the stones.

Listening to the sounds, the smell of the air it didn't seem like anything worse could happen...

Impressed by her Sensei her Gouwan, Tenshi thought about a way to disinfect the wound. There was too much chaos around her, she hoped if she could call Sakena, the man would have a chance to go to the hospital.

Sakena Sensei! Sakena senSei! I need something to disinfect the wound, if I can do that, I can bandage him and he can go to the hospital. He might have some valuable information. Please, I need your help!

To the man she only smiled and she was really happy she could relieve his pain a bit. If her suspicions where correct, the man could hold valuable information that might help.

Tenshi blushed when her Sensei complimented her.

She took the solution and searched for a clean rag, when she didn't find one, she tore her scarf from her neck and drenched it with the alchohol.
Softly she rubbed the wound clean and hoped it was enough.

Sakena Sensei, can anyone bring him to the hospital?

Yes Sensei, I will be back as soon as he is safe at the hospital!

She supported the Teacher with her body and started to walk slowly to the hospital.

Tenshi put the green vial in her pocket and moved on.

I'll take it easy till something happens so the others can post too

Kenshi helped the children get to the other side of the debris. Sakena was so busy with the boy that she might not have heard what he said. He helped Sakena and the boy to get out of the tunnel. When they passed him Kenshi noticed the slime that was on the boy his neck. Before he could even think about what the slime was Sakena would call out to the ANBU asking for the Hokage and Uchiha Sora.

He didn't know what was happening but if Sakena asked for the Hokage than there had to be something terribly wrong. "Sensei, what's going on? Is there anything I could help you with?" He asked but then he remembered Sakena asking them to look outside for any clues. So Kenshi went outside and started looking for any clues. May it be a piece of clothing, a footprint or even more tags.

The ANBU would look at Sakena confused as she requested for the Hokage or for Sora.

"Sakena-hime?!" she would gasp out surprised.
"Th...the Hokage? Uh....Uchiha S...Sora?! What do you mean?" Clearly confused to her request at the moment but coughs and quickly regains her composure nodding.

"Yes Miss, I will get the Hokage right away." She would say and disappear from sight.

As Tenshi would pick up the Academy teacher who was now patched up a bit by her technique, the man could still walk on his own for the most part, but it was clear enough he wouldn't have managed it far without her help, let alone all the way to the hospital.

As Tenshi would be going down the long stairway and Kenshi would walk out to look around he wouldn't spot anything out of the ordinairy until he would see something of a shadowy figure ontop of the Hokage stone faces moving away from the village towards the border of it.
Soon though a few of Mana's dogs would already attempt to follow the target but Kenshi could clearly tell that their target was a lot faster than the dogs, simply because he could see the dogs and tell what they looked like, and as for the figure, with how fast it moved he could only tell that it was something, not even being able to certainly state it was, someone.

When Kenshi looked around he couldn't find any clues. That was untill he saw something ontop of the Hokage stone faces and it was moving towards the village borders. As soon as he saw that he would run back inside. "Sensei! There is something ontop of the the Hokage stone faces. I couldn't see what it was exactly but it was moving towards the borders." Kenshi told his sensei hoping that she would go look what is was. He wanted to do that himself but that thing outran Mana her dogs so he wouldn't be able to catch up to it.

By now Tenshi was already one quarter of the way there, lucky for her and the teacher the Hospital was rather close to the Hokage-faces, in fact it was the closest public facility near them. But still with the long stairs and while having to help a grown man walk it felt like it lasted longer than that. She would see the Hokage and one of the ANBU approaching, they were walking at a fast pace as the ANBU explained Itachi the situation. She could see the eyes of the 6th spotting her and the teacher as he listens to the ANBU.

The ANBU standing next to Kenshi and Mana now as the Haruno Jounin would make her way to follow the dark figure. "Call back your dogs....I have a bad feeling about this." The ANBU suggested to the Hatake girl.

It wouldn't be long before Sakena would catch up with the said figure, especially because she noticed it had stopped on purpose to wait for her to catch up. And once she did she understood why nobody could give her a clear description of what it was or whom it was they saw.
Before her was a black thick substance that would remind one of very thick inc mixed with blood and slime, it was of a dark color and reflected the sun a bit. She recognized the substance as the thing was made from which had hunted her before, the leader of the Blood Brotherhood and the highest ranking Shinka....The one they killed 3 years ago. So it couldn't be him.



The substance would then form itself into the shape of a 13 year old boy with pale skin and an emotionless expression as she could see trails of the slime spread over the ground around him as a form of defense should Sakena choose to approach, she already knew she couldn't physically touch it and so did he.
The boy would turn around and look the Jounin into the eyes. It was him, the son of the Shinka leader who framed his own father so that 3 years ago he could be defeated. The one whom wanted her friend's Sharingan, the new leader of the Blood Brotherhood and the Shinka. This void of emotions boy was now staring back into her eyes with an empty yet seemingly all-knowing expression.
"So we meet again Haruno Sakena." He greets her awaiting for her reaction. She could see the substance he was made of slowly spreading along the area vividly moving in circles clockwise and counter clockwise.
"Anything I can help you with? Don't worry....we didn't come here for you. Not this time." He explained.

Kenshi didn't know what was going on so he just did as his Sensei told him. He stayed with the students and made sure that they were fine. Kenshi would look at the Uchiha looking at the thing that was on his neck. He tried to think about what it could be and why Sakena asked for the Hokage. She wouldn't ask for the Hokage just because the boy was an Uchiha, so there had to be something more to it.

Tenshi did her best to bring the teacher to the hospital as fast as she could. On her way she passed the hokage and a shiver went down her spine when she looked at him. still no troubles. She hoped it would stay that way till she could deliver the man to the medics in the hospital.
She still scanned the surroundings just in case.

"It doesn't matter what you're here for, you're not getting it." Sakenas face was void of any emotion, though her voice however was of a malicious intent. Keeping her eyes locked in place with the boys, images flashed back of the fight, of the first Shinka attack on the boat with Kisame, Faolan, Sendo, Sora... the battles that ensued with Akanes brother, Keisei.... the girl with the snake like abilities. How her death was staged to help keep her safe, living away for years at a time in the Sound Village.

How many bloodlines did he now have....was hers destroyed? No, it couldn't be...he was not here for her...this time....he said it himself she was going to be targeted again....

Under her breathing she watched closely at the slime movements, at any movements the boy would make. If he didn't attack her, she couldn't risk attacking first and making Konoha into a battlefield.

"Get....out...Get out now." The jounin felt her heartbeat quicken as the hair on her arms stood up...was he here to get Sora.... 'Not again...' She thought to herself....

With her hands at her side she waited, watched....War was coming. And there was nothing anyone could do to stop it.


"Hmm, oh...of course..." The small Genin would motion her hands for all her canine comrades to return to her, "I do not understand...what is going on here?"

The big needy information seeking eyes stared to the ANBU figure dressed in a cloak as she looked to Kenshi and whispered. "Where is Sakena Sensei?"

"Your temperance is admirable. At least this time around. I can tell you have matured."
He would speak seemingly in a mixture of mocking and praising.
"Though I am sure it sounds strange to hear such words from a 13 year old." He would quickly add behind it before turning his back to her again, but as he did the slime spinning on the ground would increase it's rotation speed as if to give him more defense should she choose to approach him at his back. This boy seemed to think of everything, every little detail, even more so than his father who was considered a mastermind and since nobody had a proper chance of going all out with him, his power and abilities were yet to be truly measured, yet he was only one place lower in the Shinka compared to his father and now spotting the top seat. And Sakena well remembered that it took multiple Kage, Multiple Jounin and a whole lot of Chuunin just to take down his dad. And they were only able to get him because this little boy...he framed him.
"But...you are still as overconfident as ever Haruno-san. You see...I already have what I want. And next time I could just take one of your students...pick them out one by one...they do all seem so...specially delicious." He would glance back at her over his shoulder as if to check her reaction to his words as he was slowly walking off.
"But you are right. I have far outlived my welcome here I see. I should indeed beg my leave."

He would say and disappear as if melting away into the ground and the slime would slowly disappear sipping down as well.
The crows would in large numbers cover the area of the Hokage stone faces, including the location where Sakena was standing and where the Shinka leader was just moments ago. The crows wouldn't harm anybody but would just slightly obscure their sight before disappearing leaving behind only crow feathers.
That very moment Tenshin down below would see the Hokage blend in with the crows and disappear.
When the crows were gone Itachi was standing next to Sakena and no longer down below.
"Are you alright Sakena-chan?" He would ask in a calm voice that only had a very light hint of worry to it. His Sharingan activated, Itachi knew exactly how dangerous that little kid was and he must have sensed his chakra when he got close and that's why he moved up fast.

However Down where Kenshi was with the students there would also be another Itachi who would be checking on the young Uchiha boy examining the mark before letting out a deep sigh of defeat and hanging his head.
"I was too late to act. And yet another one. They seem to have a preference for my Clan for some twisted reason." He stood up and glanced to Kenshi and Mana.
"You two, take this Uchiha boy and bring him to the Hospital. If you hurry you might catch up with your team-mate. Stick together and don't leave eachother's side for now..." The Hokage would command the two but then his expression would turn a bit worried as he added.
"...and be careful." He would then regain his confident commanding look and give the two Genin a nod.

The small Uchiha boy was way easier to carry than a full-grown adult especialy when having multiple dogs to help out so catching up with Tenshi should be easy indeed.

Kenshi looked at Mana when she asked him where Sakena was. "She went after something that I saw on top of the Hokage stone faces." He said and shortly after that the Hokage would arrive. Sakena asked him to stay with the children. But when the Hokage asked them to carry the Uchiha boy to the hospital he knew that the other children would be safe with him there. Kenshi took the left arm of the boy and put it around his neck while he held the boy with his right arm. He looked at Mana as he lifted the boy a little. "Could you take the other side?"

Tenshi was still walking, she sometimes stopped to look at the wound but it held out pretty well. No wonder, she had the best of teachers. If she reached the end of the stairs, she could move a bit faster, it was a hard job to help the man down the stairs.

It felt strange to her that somebody trusted her in this way. Actually, if she was right, it was the first time.
Also, the fact that the Hokage was called to the site worried her in a great deal. But she believed her teammates and Sakena wouldn't be in danger, even if the hokage wasn't around.
