Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeSun 29 Dec - 12:36

It was the same bright morning as team Sora was subject to, however contrary to Sora's chosen spot to wait, Sendo had picked a place more suited to his own nature. And nature it was. It was a park in Konoha, not very distant to the Aburame compound and you could often find Aburame members there, who wish to escape the confines of the compound.

As noon was gathering, the sensei could be seen talking to a few bugs, resting on his hand, flying off after the short conversation. One of these little fellows flew in the distinct  direction of the konoha hospital. Anyone that has heard of the previous days event, would know that the man used this insect to find out how the Hayate boy was doing. Unfortunately, the boy was in a worse enough state to be removed from the team, but the other two members of team Sendo would get their promised second chance.

As the morning progressed something one would not expect from Sendo happened, the man sighed, he was new to all this Sensei stuff and obviously he was not as prepared for it as he once thought. He would have to learn, just like he students would. And the two remaining students would have a harder task as it was. The Hokage had given him a harder task to perform, trusting him with it, but Sendo did have his doubts. Off course, he would hide these when his students would arrive, they at least had to believe he knew what he was doing.

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeSat 4 Jan - 10:34

It was merely the second day since graduation and Ryochoku was never in a good mood until now. He was still going through the transaction as a whole, this entire "entering labor" transaction. For most of the graduates out there, they were definitely enjoying their graduation and their progression to being an actual genin but not for Ryochoku. For comparison, they were like someone that dreamed to be journalist when growing up and proceed to be successful journalist at the end of the day. Ryochoku? He's the guy that was forced through business school while his real passion lies elsewhere. It was just hard for him to accept his life when he imagine what he's going to do in the next fifteen to twenty years. It's definitely not what he expected himself to do growing up. Ironically, he has never figured out his life so far and without this, he would just be another clueless teenager and to some people, this is at least more meaningful than an aimless life.

To make thing worst, the more favorable teammate of him was out and he was stuck here with the one he disliked. Of course, he knew he has to force himself to work with her. This is a job after all and he understood that there's no need to like his job and you definitely don't have to like everyone you meet in the job. As long as you try to work with your fellow workers well on the job, you can hate them all you want at the rest of the day. It's harder to do it though than saying it and Ryo expected himself to take a long time to really do that but for today, he's going to swallow his hatred as he didn't want more troubles than yesterday. Today was the second chance and he definitely didn't want to screw it up again. He knew that it would only make his life harder if he was not doing his job well enough repeatedly and he didn't want that.

Ryochoku was a little surprised that he was the first to arrive. It was always weird when he did that. Most of the time it was because of him and his tendency to not talk but this time, it was even more as his sensei didn't seem to be the talkative type either. Ryochoku gave his sensei a brief nod before laying his back on a nearby tree, waiting for the others to arrive.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeTue 7 Jan - 8:26

Sendo greeted his student with an acknowledging nod. "Good morning Ryochoku kun.". He was silent for a few seconds before he spoke again.
"I trust you are not overly excited or pleased with the current turn of events." He took out a booklet and started scanning through it. Strangely though his tone of voice didn't sound distracted at all as if his full attention was still on Ryochoku somehow despite his body's posture as he leaned against a tree.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeFri 10 Jan - 13:51

Not soon after Ryochoku arrived and in Sendo's mid-sentence a little girl would jump out of well... Jump out of an open area, trying to get all the attention to herself. She almost made a bit of a pose to make it even more clear she was standing there.
'Goooooooood morning Aburame-Sensei, Goooooood morning Ryochoku-kun!' she said with a bright smile. It was the young Sarutobi. Unlike Ryochoku she was definitely excited to participate in whatever it was that would happen. 'I feel so sorry about Hayate-kun not being here!' She put up a bit of a sulky face but immediately got back to her bright smile, being happy she at least had a second chance to show everyone what she was made of. 'So, what's happening today Sensei?'

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeMon 13 Jan - 12:35

Ryochoku would really prefer some (un)comfortable silence between him and his sensei but the Aburame decided to talk. He was quite sure that an Aburame could care less about talking but he was required to be a good sensei and constant communication was likely part of the deal.

"A job's a job. It's not like I am here to have fun, I am here to fulfill my duty." the teenage boy replied, not really hiding his lack of enthusiasm of the whole shinobi thing.

His other teammate arrived shortly after that and they seemed ready to go for their second chance. Ryochoku didn't really care for the girl's greeting at all, he merely eyed the girl for a second there before turning his sight back to the ground again as if the ground was more attractive than the girl. Actually, that statement was true as Ryochoku sure didn't like the girl one bit and trying to work with her seemed to be the first thing to overcome in his shinobi career.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeWed 15 Jan - 9:47

Sendo nodded at Ryochoku's response yet somehow not completly satisfied with it. "Yes, duty is very important..." His voice trailes of as he saw Kouhi land next to them.
"Hm.. yes, Kouhi chan. Good morning to you too. It is indeed regrettable that Hayate kun has been urged by his family to dis-enroll from the Shinobi Training Program. Our previous training uncovered a rare medical condition that makes him highly alergic to a wide variety of sedatives and certain medacines, something that, when he ever requires medical attention after combat, will only lower his survival rate." Sendo paused to straighten his shades.
"It is for that reason that we are going to pick up your replacement teammate. This way please."

'Replacement?' Kouhi asked curiously. She followed her sensei immediately. She hoped it would be a girl or at least someone of her own age. Someone nice, who would adore her for the amazing and talented person she was. Someone very unlike the Tenshu-boy. She didn't like him very much.
'Ryochoku-kun, who do you think our replacement will be?'

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeThu 16 Jan - 15:25

Replacement teammate was definitely good news for the Tenshu boy, he really needed someone else between him and the little ball of showoff that was in front of him right now. As the team began to move, he followed behind them, silently, until the girl talked to him.

It was surprisingly really, as he didn't expect the girl to actively talk to him again and he would be fine with that. The boy wondered whether if Kouhi was just so young and naive in that she would be friendly to even an unfriendly person like himself or she was just...trying to get it working? Well, from his experience so far, trying to get something working has never worked. His mother has been trying to get the family closer for many years now, mainly his cockamamy brother, Mitsuhide and his "massive pain in the ass" sister, Mizuki. The result? Nothing has changed. That two continued to insult him whenever he was on their sight and they didn't like his mother either. Having been on the victim side, Ryochoku was feeling a little bit of sympathy of the little girl. Was he being too hard on a young child? Maybe, but it's hard to change his mind now.

Still, he has to reply her and as much as he didn't want anything to do with the girl, he has to try to work with her on duty. It's just part of the job and again, he knew he definitely didn't have to like everything about his job...it's hard enough to find one aspect that he like about at this moment.

"Probably a failure of the previous year." He answered after a brief moment of thinking, not really looking at the girl the whole time he was answering her. As far as he knew and the Tenshu network indicated so, everyone graduated yesterday was assigned to a team so a genin that was not doing so well in his previous team seemed to be a real possibility here.

His real answer was inside himself though, "as long as it's not another you". Just imagining the possibility of him working with two Kouhis was absolutely terrifying. It would be like two show offs trying to see who is truly the better one and they were constantly competing over some stupid things and being hyperactive all around the place. Wow, that would be a nightmare. Ryo knew he was unlikely to like the new guy because that's just him, but someone more like Hayate than Kouhi was definitely preferable.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeSat 18 Jan - 13:05

Sendo raised an eyebrow at Ryochoku. Hmm? No, this one is a bit more special. You will see." he added mysteriously, turned and started walking towards their destination.

It wasn't far at all, practically around the corner of the park where they had met up. The building was a dull grey and it's size was roughly the same as the other buildings in the district so it didn't stand out much.... except for the fact that it stood alone and was surrounded by a concrete wall with a tough iron gate. The sign at the gate read:
Konoha Youth Correctional Facility.
Sendo turned and tilted his head so he could look at his 2 students. "I should warn you, our new teammate is rather aggressive and isn't used to people being overly kind to him. This is one of those situations where you might want to dim the chipper attitude Kouhi chan." With that he opened the gate and began leading the team to the entrance of the building.

Kouhi would still be slightly enthusiastic after the boy's discouraging talk about the "possible failure." It could still be a girl! Her enthusiasm would still be there, to the point they got to the place. She was talking about a lot of nonsense to Ryochoku about a lot of things, like the good weather, about how she hoped for a nice girl.
Her talking would continue to the point her sensei would stop in front of a building. 'Konoha...Youth... Correction... Facility?' Kouhi asked, frozen. Her face was in a shocked position.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeMon 20 Jan - 7:54

Kouhi was really active, talking a whole lot of stuff that really has nothing to do with Ryochoku at all. Ryochoku kept his mouth closed, focusing all his willpower to make sure that he didn't say anything harsh to the girl. At least not in the second day when he was getting a second chance. He knew that a third chance was extremely unlikely to happen, if at all. On some level, Kouhi was like his sister but this one was way too noisy for him, just so irritating.

Ryochoku sure as hell wasn't expecting someon from a youth correctional facility to be his teammate. Lots of possibilities spunning around his own mind, of how an academy student or perhaps a genin was put into such a facility and how was he accepted into a team again. Tons of possibilities and tons of information to dig in the network when he's back home.

He wasn't sure if he was happy with this teammate though. Of course, he was definitely happy that it wasn't another Kouhi and based on the description so far, he was way off from the little girl. The little girl would likely have more problem with this guy than Ryo himself would be. On the other hand, he wasn't sure about the rather aggressive behavior. For one, he had enough offensive language threw at him where he live and he didn't want more of that when he is doing his job.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeMon 20 Jan - 12:03

Sendo strode through the front door to the reception desk. "Yes Kouhi-chan. Did you expect we throw minors in jail?" He presented a form to the desk clerk, a skinny woman, past her forties. "Please wait in Hall 2, we'll go get him for you." the clerk responded. Sendo would make his way into the waiting room clearly expecting his team to follow.

After a few minutes the double doors would open and a trio would enter, a young lad flanked by 2 fellows in white who were clearly the sort that specialised in putting people in straight jackets, if they ever needed to with their arms being as thick as their necks. The youth was tall, almost as large as Sendo who was already of considerable height if short by an inch or 3. Kouhi had to look almost all the way up if she stood in front of him. His hair was red and stood on all ends like a flame.

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeMon 20 Jan - 14:24

There had been numerous instances in which he found himself without catching a wink of sleep throughout those long sixteen years of his life; incapable of surmounting the doubts which were buried deep within that borrowed heart of his. That night, he would hear the constant whispers of faceless strangers echoing throughout his mind, recollecting their every hateful word along with the glares that stripped him of any chance of redemption. The citizens of Konohagakure were unwilling to change their perspective of the alleged delinquent, incapable of seeing past his rough appearance and judging him for his every squander... it was an easy thing to forget that he was still a child of sixteen years old, and not some sort of adult whom has matured in a psychological sense. His chest grew all the heavier with every passing day within the hidden leaf village, and as the seasons came to change color... he had gradually came to believe their words. That he was nothing more than some violent brute that sought to cause as much damage as possible. That he was someone incapable of feeling any sense of empathy for anyone other than himself; and the list went on. However, their confusion as to why someone such as himself had attempted to become a shinobi was what bothered him the most amongst the list previously mentioned; it instilled such discomfort, that he would keep tossing and turning until the break of dawn within the sleeping quarters of the youth correction facility. He reflected as to exactly what prompted him to desire to become a shinobi, whereas he had numerous other opportunities to pursue; for example, he could have easily became a carpenter or a blacksmith... or anything other than a shinobi really. He had been implemented into the world of shinobi after he had been severely beaten up, and as a result... his parents sought to offer him some form of protection in having him learn the ways of the shinobi; they had the simple desire of him learning how to defend himself.

Though as he delved further into the shinobi world, as he became all the more involved with their label... he became incapable of turning his back against the hidden leaf village. He did not fear the possibility of being branded as a traitor if he were to suddenly cut ties with the village, nor did he seek vengeance against all those who reside within the village for all the emotional trauma they inflicted upon him... but rather that he enjoyed the thrill of being a shinobi. Though that thrill of his does not stem from the idea of helping people through missions or the like... but rather how it deviated him from an ordinary life. The thought of seeing amazing sights which ordinary people would never get the chance to. Not being chained down to an ordinary life which consisted purely of working until he became an old man, to be unnecessarily tied down with some woman and having children together. The capability of supporting his family in a financial way with the money that comes along with the title of shinobi. For the chance of having his name and exploits to be forever immortalized throughout the ages in history books. Though that smile of his had gradually morphed into a frown as he listed additional reasons as to why he wanted to become a shinobi. He knew himself better than that, he knew that the previously mentioned reasons were merely poor attempts of justifying his involvement with the shinobi world. He crunched himself further into the pile of blankets and pillows as he came to admit the real reason; he was drawn in by his lust for blood, no matter how revolted he was of his own sick, barbaric and sadistic nature. He enjoyed it whenever he heard the sound of bones crunching behind the weigh of his punches, relished whenever his opponent would become bloodier and bloodier as the fight went on... and when the fight was over... when the adrenaline pumping throughout his body would gradually disappear... he would realize in horror as to what he had done against whoever was unfortunate enough to be his victim.

Hence the reason as to why the young man bears absolutely no resentment toward any of the leaf villagers whom have wronged him as he knew that if he were an entirely different person, he too would have undoubtedly shared their hatred of the delinquent for his abominable persona; for how he was nothing more than a wolf in sheep's clothing. There had been no doubt that if his parents knew of that vile nature of his, especially if his mother knew, they too would learn to hate their own son enough to the point where he would be disowned; it would be then that he would truly be alone in this world. He believed that the Hokage found him to be nothing more than a pest and that he only remains there in the slight chance that he may prove useful as a soldier. An expendable soldier that may be manipulated like a marionette via exploiting his fragile emotions. Despite the many recent graduates of the academy having been placed in a squad, he had remained by his lonesome self for whatever reason... though he assumed, no, he knew that he was a difficult individual to be dumped into some squad; correction, rather than difficult... it was more likely that it was more along the lines of being... unwanted. As he turned to face the barred off window by the side of his bed, he had seen the morning light beginning to expel the darkness of the room; just as he had expected, he had been tossing and turning all throughout the night until the break of dawn. As he had spent a considerable amount of time in the facility, his internal clock had warned him that the staff of the facility would soon come for him as they did every morning; the click of the lock being unlatched had sprung him from his bed and unto his feet long before the staff member was capable of demanding him to get out. It had been a surprise as he would often ignore their calls and their demands, though his apparent obedience was fueled by hunger rather than the thought of being punished in some way or another. Their methods of punishment were not a concern for the young man as he had suffered much worse pain than they could ever do without the use of torture methods.

It had been a requirement for him to be accompanied by at least one other during his stay at the facility, especially considering the fact that he had attempted to sneak out on more than one occasion; they were especially vigilant of him whenever he was around people. Though it had become more rare for a violent outburst, however... the few rare moments that there was an outburst... well, there were reasons as to why there were shinobi in the immediate area. Though as he made his way to the dining area of the facility as per the norm of his life in the facility, he had been told that today was the day that they would be signing him out of the facility. "Right... ya said somethin' 'bout that the other day..." He recollected the time in which he had been told that he would be taken in as a member of a squad; it was more of an effort into seeing how well fitted he'd be if he were to be reintegrated into society. Much safer for the rest of the village if he were supervised by a Jounin than to be left running amok he supposed. He complied with the staff member's request of following him despite his hunger, he would much rather eat ramen or something outside of the facility's daily serving of some gruel-like substance. There he was, walking forward in order for some stranger to come pick him up with two guys at either side of him... ready to pacify him as soon as he tried to do something. His hands were stuffed into the pockets of his leather jacket, he would rather not hear their moaning about how things would proceed more smoothly if he had his hands in his pockets, he cracked every bone in his body as he felt rather stiff from being confined in the place for so long. Once he showed up, he would proceed to eye each one individually with an apathetic face before coming to an halt so that they may inspect the behemoth known as Kiryuu; first he eyed the kunoichi, which he quickly dismissed as being not-interesting due to appearing weak... he wouldn't return eye contact with her no matter what she would do, the other two looked stronger. He eyed over the other Genin and Jounin, scoffing as he was not expecting much from them. Well, perhaps it would be interesting to fight them whenever the chance presented itself... might as well give all three of them a greeting common amongst delinquents. Glaring at the Jounin, and attempting to broadcast the surge of his violent tendencies throughout as an aura of sorts whilst he awaited for what was to come next.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeTue 21 Jan - 8:54

Kouhi would see before her: a tall, scary boyman, or something along those lines. She had to look all the way up in order to see his face anyway. He was big and pretty much scary. She hid behind Ryochoku, grabbing his clothes, giving the giant a fierce look.
'Sensei, are you sure this is the right guy?' she asked Sendo, doing the best she could to keep her voice calm and steady. Ryochoku was a lot taller than she was, which helped. Kouhi gave the giant another look, it seemed a bit angry look. When she managed to get completely calm she stepped away from the Tenshu-boy and walked towards him, trying to get all her courage together. She was a Sarutobi after all. She shouldn't be afraid of a mere little (pretty big actually) criminal.
I am a Sarutobi, now show him how great you are!

Maybe it all wasn't so bad. With a voice as steady as possible she poke: 'Sarutobi Kouhi, nice to meet you.'

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeThu 23 Jan - 14:12

This definitely wasn't the first time Ryochoku was looked upon by a pair of scary, intimidating eyes. For one, his entire clan hated the heck out of him and they were still hating him right now. The newly-fledged genin wouldn't even bother making eye contacts with his clan members, knowing that he would be gazed by intense hatred and perhaps a "helpful" dose of killing instinct. As scary as that could be, the flamboyant teenager standing in front of him has something more -- he was a completely stranger and that made him even scarier. Ryochoku has no doubt that his clanmates wanted to hurt him if possible but they could not do so, due to their political status. When one was watched closely by the world, one has to be careful with everything they do. A malefactor like the boy standing before him has no such limitation, none at all, and the fact that he was located in the youth correctional facility made this whole situation even more intidimating as he knew the boy wasn't just a poser, he would gladly do what he want -- or else he wouldn't be here.

In a normal situation he would not let the girl hide behind him and he might even shove her hand away from his clothes but this time, he didn't even realize the girl was behind him. His senses weakened by the mental pressure coming from his going-to-be teammate. The Tenshu boy didn't want to give in though, like hell he would show out that he was afraid of someone of the same age. He forced his body to tense out, not allowing any sort of body language to be read. His face, like always, showed zero emotion.

[Roll: Impersonation C, falsify emotions - trying to fake "not intimidated"]

If roll failed:
Quote :
Perhaps he was overdoing it, or perhaps he was just that too scared for his feeble attempt of acting, he was clearly shaking. He might not know it himself due to his own belief of "stablizing" any body language of himself but the people around him could see that easily, especially the one with the crimson hair. He could definitely feel it, the fear he bestowed upon the blonde boy.

"Tenshu Ryochoku." The boy said with a cold tone.

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeFri 24 Jan - 8:22

He had been imprisoned in the facility for so long that he had more than enough time to run all sorts of different scenarios revolving around being implemented into an actual squad, and just as he had envisioned... things were more or less going as he had anticipated; he could tell what was on everyone's minds as they stood before him. It was obvious that they were all silently judging him to be an unfavorable addition to their squad, that he was disliked at first glance. He had grown accustomed to receiving such treatment, and thus met them with his own personal hatred against them; after all... he had not even spoken a single word and yet they have the audacity of shunning him. Especially the girl with the way she asked her babysitter about whether he was sure that Kiryuu was the right guy, it was more than enough justification for him to see her as nothing more than trash. Nice to meet you, my ass... he kept the comment to himself, he would get his own personal vengeance sooner or later when there were no eyes lingering about. He refocused on the Jounin with which he was currently glaring at in an attempt of intimidating him, though Kiryuu had failed to sense whether said intimidation worked or not; as the vast majority of his face was hidden away by the collar of his coat, and the shades had disallowed Kiryuu to gaze into his eyes. As it had been a lost cause, he had focused his gaze on the one which introduced himself as Ryochoku; it did not appear as if he had been intimidated, appeared to be more uncomfortable than anything else. He was only capable of intimidating a little girl out of the three that stood before him... he wondered whether he was getting rusty, or if shinobi were just that much more than ordinary people; he expected just as much from the experienced Jounin... but come on... even the Genin?

He gave a small sigh as he freed his hands from their confinement, which would allow the young kunoichi whom stood before him to inspect the hands; heavily scarred from the many brawls he had, easily being a sign that he was not above the use of violence. The aforementioned act had instantly caused the two men by his sides to close unto him as they knew him and his violent tendencies, the professionals left him barely an inch of movement as they were suspecting him to hit the girl as she was well within his massive reach; just as expected from someone that stood at an astounding height of 6'6", barely two inches taller than the other's caretaker. As he stood there in an awkward pose, he gave out a small chuckle in the form of a scoff. "Come on guys... y'all should learn to relax a bit. I mean, I know you two just love me 'n all, but the guy over there is going to take care of me now. I'd just like if ya just stopped giving me the awkward hugs, s'all the more embarrassing with strangers right in front of us." It was obvious that Kiryuu had some sort of lisp or accent with the way he spoke with that deep voice of his, which made it all the more obvious that he was not born in Konohakagure which limited his knowledge of the various clans and alleged famous people of the leaf. The two had reluctantly freed him as they sensed no signs of hostility from him any longer, which in turn he stretched his body as if he had been confined for an eternity within their, as he would call it 'embrace'. "Well, ain't this nice? Here y'all being so polite and formal with your introductions. I sure hope that I'm not causing you three any problems with me imposing into this little group that y'all have; especially on sensei, I'm sure he didn't become a shinobi just to become a babysitter. Hmm, well even though sensei must have a file on me, I guess it'd be best if I introduced myself as well. Sunėkuaizu Kiryuu, age sixteen. Lookin' forward to workin' with y'all." If one paid the least amount of attention, one would sense some slight sarcasm here and there... he obviously disliked the idea of being grouped up together.

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeFri 24 Jan - 9:24

Sendo raised an eyebrow at Kiryuu's unorthodox greeting. He stood still impassively for a few seconds letting his students do their greetings first.
"That is an interesting way to greet people for the first time with such a glare Kiryuu kun. Allow me to return the sentiment." For a split few seconds the world went silent, a silence that was deafening. Sendo's form had turned into a silouette and somehow light was no longer as present as it was before. It was still there but it felt as if it had shied away, the only light that was noticable reflected from the Aburame's shades. Kiryuu would feel his chest tighten and his breath stall. He wuld recognize this feeling, the feeling of standing in front of someone you didn't know if you even had a slim chance of beating, only this jounin was actually channeling it at him intentionally.

(Kouhi and Ryochoku also feel this but much less directed at them)

Then as quickly as it had come it vanished and sound and light returned to the world. "Formality and politeness has it's place in the world and should not be underestimated, but that doesn't mean I shy away from what needs to be said. Aburame Sendo, 18 years and your jounin sensei from this point on. I will not be babysitting, at best I'll stop you from getting yourselves killed. Learning from foolishness will be the task of each of you. That includes trying to intimidate people when you know you can back it up. As for that file, yes I have one but what I value are actions not the recommendation or disparagement of others."

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeFri 24 Jan - 11:33

The Sarutobi would see her sensei do something scary, but after the words of Kiryuu she felt more confident than ever. She would step forward to the giant and look all the way up, starting to move around him.
'You are soooo tall!' she spoke in an amazed voice and with big eyes. The girl forgot all her fear. She remembered how she would sometimes sit on her dads shoulders when she was younger, but this was even higher. Without thinking too much she grabbed his shirt and would make an attempt to get on his shoulders.

Again: the girl wasn't thinking, she was just acting impulsive and as soon as she started doing it she her gut told her this probably was a bad idea...

Ryochoku was perfectly fine with his newly introduced teammate so far. For one, he seemed like he was more of the type that would not bother people if they just leave him alone and Ryo was definitely the one that would leave him alone as much as possible. Sendo, being the sensei, would have to deal with him on a daily basis and Kouhi...well, she was annoying and will always be like that -- at least for a while until she grows up. Ryochoku would gladly stay out of their way and just do their own thing on the side.

Those were more or less the future; right now, the sensei was showing the serious side of him, a side that was not seen by him until this moment and the young boy's instinct was to just get out of the way. Ryochoku stepped to the side, not wanting anything to do with the whole situation.

Kouhi though, was being foolish like usual. If this was as per usual, she could get away with it. After all, a child would get a way with many things but not when you were doing chilidish stuff against a troublemaker. Kiryuu sure looked like someone that would hit whoever that messes with him and that include a young child. Ryochoku could care less though. Hell, he even had a slight grin in the face, knowing that there was a chance the Sarutobi could taste the consequence of her annoyance.

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeMon 27 Jan - 7:38

It had been the first time that Kiryuu would hear the Jounin speak thus easily obtaining the attention that was previously given to the one whom would later introduce himself as Aburame Sendo; though he had not been given sufficient amount of time to pay attention to his words, instead he had been instantly struck with an odd sense of intimidation from the enigmatic man before him. His eyes were incapable of averting their attention elsewhere, seemingly permanently locked unto his, the light gradually succumbing into a state of darkness with the sole exception being the light reflected off of his sunglasses. His ordinarily silent breathing became shallow and gradually transcended into being completely stopped as his chest felt all the more tighter; he could hear the somewhat nostalgic ring in his ears that eventually drowns everything out within its dark depths. As he became further afflicted with the phenomena, he had slowly reached for the nitroglycerin pills located in the left pocket of his jeans; he had been lead to believe that he would soon experience a heart episode. As his fingers were about to gently pop the cap off, he stopped himself... he felt, no, he knew that it was something more than just his heart acting up. It was an odd and somewhat familiar feeling... he could tell that there had been an absurd gap of power between the two of them. Though he had never been the sort of person whom would meekly back down despite the difference in strength, it was an idiotic trait for sure... but... but it felt wrong to do otherwise. He lifted his head slightly upward in order to face the Jounin as, unawaringly, it dropped to face the ground instead; eyes brimming with some sort of an animalistic quality fueled by sheer will; whether conscious or not was unknown.

Once the aforementioned effects had come to an halt, his violent nature had once again taken hold of that borrowed heart of his; of which he had instantly directed it toward the Jounin once more whilst he made his introductions of which had fallen unto deaf ears. Despite it being a known fact for reacting aggressively when someone initiates contact with the delinquent, he had shown absolutely no reaction whenever the youngster of the trio decided that it was an amazing idea to climb unto the giant; there was a reason as to why others do not call him a friendly giant. He had quickly decided on the most effective manner in order to initiate a brawl against the Jounin using the experience he had gained over the long years of fight after fight with other delinquents. As the girl came to reach his shoulders during her climb to the top, he would grapple unto her shirt behind the neck; of which he would have dug deep into her skin as he tightened an absurdly strong grip. Using his unordinary immense strength, for that of a Genin anyway, he would throw her toward Sendo ideally spiraling her enough to cause her to crash into Sendo feet first. This was not an attempt in order to specifically inflict damage to the Jounin, but just to slow him down with the hope that he would protect her by catching her instead of allowing her to slam unto the ground; it somewhat interested Kiryuu to see whether Sendo actually gave a damn about his young protegees, if he didn't... well... relations with him would surely turn sour with the rest of the group.

As this action occurred practically instantaneously whenever Kouhi had started to climb unto Kiryuu, he had hoped that the two men located by his sides would be perplexed long enough that he would have enough time to throw the kunoichi; which ideally they would be further shocked about the unfolding events. In hopes that they were surprised enough to lessen their guard, Kiryuu would have quickly hit one of the two with a kick to the groan area, and the other with an uppercut to the jaw; purely in order to render them unable to act as he would then bulrush toward Sendo with a punch. If Kouhi should still be in the way of the incoming punch, Kiryuu would continue rushing forward in the hopes that Sendo would either shield her from harm and get hit instead, or at least slow him down in order to release a barrage of blows.

[If necessary to make the appropriate roles in order to determine whether said actions were successful or not, go ahead for:

-Grapple role on Kouhi.
-... throwing her, whether she's successfully thrown unto the desired targeted area or not.
-Whether Kiryuu managed to beat down the pacifiers by his side, I guess...
-Whether Kiryuu made it in time in his rush toward Sendo to try to hit him before he reacted.

If a roll fails, treat it as a unsuccessful combo from that point onward and proceed to describe how Kiryuu failed and such in the next RP post.]

Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeMon 27 Jan - 8:56

Kouhi would be too late to react to Kiryuu's sudden attack (though flankly she should have seen it coming). As she flew at Sendo like a rotating she would feel herself being plucked from the air and twisted through her trajectory as Sendo proceeded to whirl her out of alignment, turning 180 degrees as his long coat billowed around him. With his back towards Kiryuu he let her drop on her feet and looked at her sternly.

Kiryuu who had distracted his guards with a few quick jabs was now rocketeering towards Sendo's back whose coat was still flapping from the momentum. He almost felt the satisfaction of landing a backalley textbook blow on an unaware opponent, almost.... Then he felt the heel of a combat boot being planted into his diaphragm (the part of the chest just below the ribs where there are no major abdominal muscles) and was reminded that kicks have longer reach than punches. The deliquent turned shinobi realized that the jounin had used his coat to mask the trajectory of his kick. Kiryuu's breath was literaly kicked out of his lungs and as his punch fell short so did his body fall of to the side.

"We will have to work on your listening skills Sarutobi Kouhi." Sendo spoke firmly.

Ryochoku tried his best to cover his happiness from showing up on his poker face as he really liked what his new teammate did to the little girl. Sure, he was sympathetic toward the girl - a little bit, after all, she was just a child - but if she could be less annoying in future after this incident, then he was all for it. Ryochoku didn't react at all, merely standing there with his back leaning on the wall behind him, not wanting anything to do with the whole situation.

Perhaps he would be scolded by his sensei a little later but he could always just take the lecture and proceed with it. After all, there was no poitn for him to do something as his sensei was pretty much manhandling his teammate by now.

PostSubject: Re: Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo)   Chapter 7: The second chance (Team Sendo) I_icon_minitimeTue 28 Jan - 2:18

The Sarutobi-girl would find herself almost at the boy shoulders as she was suddenly grabbed by her shirt. She tried to resist and get loose, but she simply wasn't strong enough and suddenly she was flying towards her sensei, seeing the ground getting closer and closer to her eyes.
Tears running over her cheeks.

She was plucked out of the air by her sensei and set on her feet, he was telling her things about how she should listen better. Tears continued to run over her face and she started sobbing really loud: she wasn't really sure whether this was because of her near-death experience or because of her teammates and her sensei.
Why didn't her sensei tell her she was brave or did good? He hadn't given her any compliments so far, as if she couldn't do anything right...
And her teammates: the Tenshu-boy was even worse than her sensei. He didn't smile and only looked at her in disapproval. Whenever he said something to her he was being mean. This boy was the same. That stupidjerkfaceKiryuu, who attempted to kill her. He was just as mean!
Why coulnd't she be in a team with Torame, or at least a friendly girl who loved her for her talent? Who would tell her how great she was and how good she did?

She just stood there and in between her sobbing she muttered: 'I hate you!', turning around, looking for the fastest way to escape the facility and started running.
