The Sarutobi clan is an influential clan from Konohagakure. It has produced several notable members who have held positions of high authority, such as Hokage, and membership in the Twelve Guardian Ninja. All known members have also been observed devotees of the Will of Fire.

Although not officially stated as such the Sarutobi are rumored to posses a Kekei Genkai. But due to their bloodline ability not showing itself as obviously as most others do most think they are merely a clan with a few hidden techniques of their own as the only things truly known about the clan is that they hold the 'Monkey Kingdom' Summoning scroll and that members of this clan seem to have a rapid growth in both their ability as well as the amount of high-ranked Jutsu.

Likewise this clan seems to value it's ties with various other Clans in the village this is for example seen when in order to strengthen the unity between the Akimichi, Nara, and Yamanaka clans, it has become a tradition that one of the Sarutobi give each of the members of the current Ino–Shika–Chō trio special earrings when they swear their oaths

Hi no Ishi - Will of Fire

The Sarutobi Clan have a genetically strong will making them tough adversaries for anyone locked in combat with them.
This will is usually seen when they try to protect someone dear to them as they hold the young generations in high regard as protecting them seems to be their reason for combat more often than not. Willing to lay down their lives for their comrades with great ease it seems, unlike many other shinobi of a young age the Sarutobi seem to have no problem to do whatever is needed to protect those close to them at the cost of their own health or even life.

All Clan members have a permanent increase in FCS of 35% (Only when attacking, countering and/or defending)
All Clan members have a + 2 to all their rolls to resist social or mental manipulation. This number becomes + 5 when the manipulation is aiming at them to break their oath to the Will of Fire as described above.

Due to their increased level of focus throughout their daily lives the Sarutobi are known as a very observant clan able to deduct a lot about their opponents in battle very quickly they are also able to learn from experience with extreme ease and little time consumption. This gives the Sarutobi a distinct advantage when training after having had some actual combat or sparring experience. And the stronger their opponents the quicker the Sarutobi will rise in ability and skill in order to match their adversaries.

If a Sarutobi has seen another person perform a Jutsu, and they have all the needed limits for the technique to be achieved they are then able to learn that Jutsu (even if custom to the character) at half it's learning cost.

If a Sarutobi has seen another person utilize a Skill , and they have all the needed limits for the skill to be learned they can learn and level the skill at half the CP cost until they reach the same level as they have perceived. It also costs them half the time to do so as them seeing another person do it gives the clan member more information than multiple books.

They are dependent on real life experience rather than books/scrolls or movies.
