Alright...let's see where we are now ;

Hayate vs Sumiyaka followed up by Ryochoku vs Torame, and then we proceed to chapter 4: The Summoning of Teams.

Nomaru, Kouhi and Tenshi are @ Nomaru's house having a celebration feast.

Yorukasa and Shikataro are at the Yamanaka flowershop.

Uzumaki Kenshi and Hatake Hotarou are both on the school-grounds and I believe that Hatake Mana is still there as well....I would suggest you guys getting a bit in touch perhaps if you want to that is. Don't underestimate the building of relationships. They are important, especially when the espionage, lying and betrayal part happens.
The current Arc's 'name' is not 'Kagemono' for nothing...Shadow Games, Monstrous Games, Dark Games...etc.

In other words for now you can just chillax or build up some roleplay with your fellow Villagers and Genin until the 2 battles at hand have been dealt with.

If you guys need any NPC support such as I did with the Uchiha Clan and the teachers and so on for your private play.....Like I assume I am going to do Ino Yamanaka now for Shikataro and Yorukasa, do inform me in PM or through this thread about it. ( PM more effective, as more chance I won't miss it by accident.)
As you have noticed NPC's that the admins have not taken direct control of, such as random passerby villagers, direct family members (unless heir or important NPC parants) are for you guys free to use, much like Nomaru and Ryochoku have been doing. However we as the admins might cease control of some of these eventually, especially if you have a special hidden background.

For using admin controlled NPC's of any kids please consult me first. Likewise you can only make use of these personal NPC's and random passerby people when in a freeform part of an event or an RP, or when doing a sidequest.

During the more official parts of the event even random villagers are NPC's controlled, this is to make sure missions for example don't become too much of a breeze.

Phew...well not much for me to post today. Just gonna go post as Ino now and go to bed.

Edit; Btw a decision has fallen on the definite team setup, however, I am not going to spoil that yet. Wait for chapter 4. They are different from the preview I gave, I'll tell you that much.

Still can't decide on one of the Sensei however...Konohamaru/ Yamashiro Aoba/ Shizune/ Original NPC/ Shiranui Genma/ Tonbo Tobitake?......Actualy Aoba or Tobitake seem like the most fun choices personally because the characters are shown but not really developed upon.

Anyway, as a reaction to the admin's post: I wanted to make Houtarou do something more but to be honest I'm not really sure what to do.
I Pm'ed Mana on whether Houtarou and her know each other really well, since they're both Hatake clan members. We may be able to do something with that!
Or I can make him stumble across Uzumaki Kenshi, since he's hanging out around the same place.
I'll try to think of something creative! No social interaction at all doesn't fit Houtarou's character.

Really curious as to what the teams are and who the sensei will be though!

And just walk up to someone who seems like fun to you and go talk to the person, act like you know each other. I choose Tenshi partly because she's that socially awkward and not asking much and stuff, seems perfect for Nomaru, who usually wants to do her own thing without too much complainants.

I've also made mistakes by not reading or not reading well before

I joined quite late so I read through everything I was behind on a tad too quickly. But like you say, we only learn from our mistakes (and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make some more throughout this game, especially during combat...)
Anyway, I changed the comment so we can carry on, haha!

Everyone will make mistakes, even the best players. But it's a good thing that you the took the common sense merrit. That way the admins will pm you when you make a stupid mistake.

I think that the reactions are slow but that is mostly because ppl have to work

People have lives. People shouldn't have lives when RPG-ing. :p

Then introduce some kind of super awesome interesting or even controversial topic to flood the event discussion thread with comments if that's what you want Kenshi.

But seriously, it's as you say, it's mostly work, and time zones too yeah.
