Side event 1 applications!

Dear players,

We are starting the first side event soon. We hope everyone is excited to join us. In the next two days I would like everyone to round off the Side RP they are having and say they are done in this topic.

I would like you to fill in the following, so I can prepare the final information.

Yes, for all the new peoples, you will get a headband at start. But you will have to earn the right to keep it. We are skipping the exams, you all had those the day before and you will be told how those went. And you are all expected to meet your new sensei during the next day at a certain time and place.

I hope you all have answered this on saturday night, for the teams that did, the topics will be opened then.

Blue

Name: Haruno Michiko

Team: 4 (with Ryochoku and Kiryuu)

Age: 14 (birthday is on the 10th of June, so she hasn't had her birthday)

Location of headband: Neck

Last dream: It was a recurring dream, one she dreamt more often. Some details were different each time, but the main theme was always the same. She ran through a forest and was in a rush. She would soon have this urgent feeling she was being chased, but by what or by whom, she did not know. Her recently acquired headband was dangling around her neck, a new detail. While she was debating whether or not to turn around and confront her pursuer or whatever was chasing her -or was she imagining it? Then what was there to be afraid of?- all of a sudden the ground ended and she was falling down. She wasn't afraid now, because the feeling of being pursued didn't follow her down. She landed on a huge soft leaf, slid down and landed on her feet on the ground, standing on a grassy meadow. She felt relieved, but she didn't have a lot of time to relish in it because when she took her first step forward, she woke up.

What: The last two days Michiko didn't interact much with anyone. She spent her time reading academy books cooped up in her room, gave extra attention reading up on subjects she had a harder time with (like genjutsu), became fed up with being in her room and took her books with her to a park where she sat underneath a tree, reading. When she tired of all the noise there she returned home, only to find out the black cat was nestled on her pillow. Feeling she'd read enough she chased the cat out of her room and followed it to try and figure out who it belonged to... only to find out that after an hour it chose to return to her room. She had dinner alone and after looking up another chapter on how to recognize genjutsu, decided that for the life of her she could not read another word. She spent the rest of the first evening luring the black cat downstairs and trying to teach the ill tempered animal some tricks.

On the second day, she spent the morning walking around town, practicing her chakra control, guiding it to various parts of her body and practicing the chakra walk on water. She went by the sweet shop and actually bought some jelly beans (and stole three lollies, she couldn't resist). During the following sugar rush, she read up on shinobi codes and politics. That evening Michiko was happily surprised her mom and sister were home for dinner, and they wished her good luck with her exam the next day. It felt really good they were home to wish her luck, Michiko really appreciated it... even from her sister. She spent her evening in her room again, looking over the subject of ninjutsu and lamenting her lack of ninjutsu techniques. She left the window open on purpose, so the black cat could come in if he wanted to. He didn't show though.

Goal: Getting her mom to acknowledge her skill. She secretly craves her mom's attention. She also wants to improve on her theft and use it for grander things (though that's more for later on and not something she wants to achieve at short notice). Last but definitely not least: she wants to catch up on her jutsu and become better at hand to hand combat, because as a Haruno all she's ever focused on was her chakra control, medical knowledge and studying.

Name: Uchiha Rikka

Team: 1 (Inuzuka Hakabakashii, Koui Nomaru)

Age: 14, had birthday on July 10th

Location of headband: Changes from day to day, outfit to outfit, currently/this event: around right upper leg

Last dream: She had angel wings and was flying around, but she didn't fly in the air, she flew under the water. Then she became very, very small and flew inside an oyster, where a lobster and a cow were having a party. She wanted to blow up a balloon, but she couldn't. The lobster and cow laughed at her and she said, "Well, what did you expect? We're underwater!" To which the cow replied "No, we're not" and she looked around to see that, indeed, they were now in a hot air balloon. The cow pulled out a fiddle and jumped over the moon, then the lobster snipped off the strings to the balloon, and they both fell down to the earth while Rikka hung there from the strings, disappearing up into space.

What: Rikka has prepared for the test by making sure she is well rested. Any last information she would be able to put in her head would probably not stick anyway, and any last physical training would only tire her out and do nothing for her during the test. She has tried to mentally prepare by making sure she is relaxed and focused by meditating, yoga, playing music and other things. Also, going to bed early.

Goal: Become a good shinobi/do her duty. Getting the Uchiha clan to be less dickish towards her would be awesome. But currently she really wants to nail that difficult solo on the flute.

Name: Chikamatsu no Hina

Team: Kazenkou (Sabaku no Meran, Sakurai Akira)

Age: 13 (Nope, her birthday is the 21st of December)

Location of headband: Head, but not the face, more like.. a headband. Like in her hair.

Last dream: The last dream she had is comprised of two parts. (Maybe she had two dreams in one night and remembered them both? She's not sure.) The first part is of her riding around on a whale: a weird animal she had read about in the last couple of days, with an image. It was big and round and felt squishy, like she thought they would do. (Honestly, the thing in her dream doesn't really resemble a whale.) She didn't, however, drive it around in the ocean. She drove a whale in the desert.
The second part was where she was weightlessly tumbling around in dark nothingless without gravitation or direction. Weird shapes and forms rolled in and out of sight, but she was not scared at all. This was one of her recurring dreams. She found that she did so much thinking during the day, but still had so much to think about at the end, that she simply wasn't finished when she went to bed. So her thoughts continued on during her sleep. Faces drifted by, traces of conversations, obscure shapes of puppet-ideas, fingers twisting in near-impossible bends as they controlled strings. She felt calm and at peace as all those thoughts leisurely floated past her.

What: Hang out with her friends, a bit of training (though nothing physically excessive, mainly chakra control, puppeteering, and easier jutsu), studying from scrolls and carving away at pieces of wood.

Goal: Find Hiten, learn more about Sasori, become the very best at puppeteering, like no one ever was.

Name: Haruno Tenshi
Team: 3 (Uzumaki Kenshi, Hatake Houtarou
Age: 14, 15th september
Location of headband: Forehead

Last dream: Blood, wouds, red fluids dripping to the ground. The strangled dog, the way it had been done, the gruesome bloody fur... Then the bloody fur turned white in her hands. Soft hair tickled her fingers. Someone kneeling in front of her. A vague shadow. Then it vanished. It all happened so quick. A gust of wind. An evil laugh in the background. Mocking her, scaring her, angering her.
She knows it, but can't reach it or do something about it.
Then the voice, cracking and mocking.
There is no escape. Your fate will be sealed. Drown in blood, suffer from madness. Fight all you like. No one will ever help you. You are alone. You are just like your parents and will end like them. six feet underground and forgotten.
I will make a difference. I can make a difference.
she thought about what Yorukasa had said to her and repeated it. It became a daily tantrum so she would never forget.
After another maddening laugh she would wake up sweating.

What: Tenshi tried preparing but didn't feel to well without good sleep. Still that didn't keep her from studying and practicing her Jutsu (old and new). Her mentors had given her new healing Jutsu to practice and she did the Bunshin no Jutsu every day so it went of easy.
Also, every once in the week she would wait until Houtarou wasn't home and would deliver a branch of orchids and leave it at his window.
It gave her some practice and put her mind to rest.

Goal: Tenshi her current goal is becoming a good healer like her parents and do something great in the future. Maybe save somebody his/her life or make a difference. Especially to the townspeople so they would be nicer to her.

Name: Sunėkuaizu, Kiryuu.
Team: Team 4. {Tenshu Ryochoku, and Haruno Michiko}
Age: 16; 18th of October.
Location of headband: Left arm; serving as an armband.

Last dream: The nostalgic sight of the damp red-colored earth scrunching beneath his own two feet, along with the gentle breeze cutting through from behind generating the all-too-familiar sound of rustling trees; such were the characteristics of the land he called home. He sought his family amidst the forested area, and thus had proceeded to turn in order to better gauge his surroundings. Which upon doing so, he had been magically transported to the confines of his room judging from the decorations and the blue-colored walls. The room had been dimly lit and he turned to face the open door which revealed the looming darkness, though he had the sinking feeling that he did not want to be stuck within the dark; yet he knew that he would find his mother down the stairs in the living room... reading some insanely long book past midnight. He wanted to meet his mother, and thus proceeded to run through the dark as if he were tremendously scared of what lurked behind its veil. Once down the stairs, he rushed through the door into the, yet again, dimly lit room which he recognized as the living room, and there she was... laying upon the couch with the book covering her face. "Okaa-san...?" He called out to her in order to gather her attention, though when she revealed her face and got unto her feet... the face belonged to that of a monster in human skin. He backed up as she drew closer to him, unaware that he got closer to the darkness. Which when enveloped by it, he felt an hand grasp his shoulder and he shrieked before waking up in his room, and reliving the hand-grasping experience before finally waking up for real.

What: He had no doubt that he would do well on any written test thanks to what he referred as, his absurd memory, and felt confident that he possessed the necessary skills to pass any test of combat seeing as he had gone through the experience once already with no real difficulty. Hence he found it best if he kept himself confined in the shabby apartment he called home in an effort of avoiding any trouble that might impact his results in the upcoming Genin exams.

Goal: He has no other goal other than to become the greatest Genin within the village, thus completing loads of missions which he would proceed to send the vast majority of the pay to his parents in order to help their financial situation.

I'd like to remind all of you the side event takes place three months AFTER the graduation of Suna and failed Graduation in Konoha, so it should be around mid september now.

Name: Sakurai Akira

Team: Kazenkou (& Chikamatsu no Hina, Sabaku no Meran)

Age: 14 (she had her birthday earlier in September)

Location of headband: Waist

Last dream: She awoke in bed and went about her daily rituals. She ran in the morning, practiced taijutsu, had lunch at home before noon, went to the library after that. When she left after 4 PM and made for the Chikamatsu compound, she swore she saw Hiten in the midst of a crowd at the market. She went after him, but the person, cloaked and hooded, avoided her. She followed him through the streets that became more and more deserted, the farther she went. All at once Hiten stopped, but when he turned around and removed his hood, there was a red haired boy with empty brown eyes. Sasori. Akira demanded to know where Hiten was, but before her eyes Sasori's skin and hair became darker until they were black, and his dull eyes changed from brown to red. The light seemed to be sucked out of the world until it was all black and the only thing she could see were two red eyes floating before her. Terror gripped Akira's heart, was this some kind of genjutsu? Why hadn't she noticed? Anger replaced her fear and she performed a successful 'kai', because the world went back to normal. But she was alone and felt no one nearby, so she turned around to go to her friend's house... only to step into a sword. There was Hiten again. He held the sword. Disbelief washed through Akira as she stared at his face. This couldn't be...
She awoke in bed, sweating and not feeling like she'd slept at all.

What: Akira did nothing unusual and simply continued her daily routine. Running and taijutsu in the cool(er) mornings, lunch at home or with Hina and Meran, the hot middays in the library, end of the afternoon over at Hina or Meran's place, dinner, ninjutsu practice or blacksmithing in the evening. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Goal: Finding Hiten. Learning the secret of Sasori's youth. Getting a handle on her temper. Becoming very skilled at impersonation for manipulation purposes and gathering intelligence. Hurting Souran very badly. (yes, totally at odds with her earlier goal of getting a handle on her temper )

Name: Inuzuka Hakabakashii
Team: 1 (with Rikka and Nomaru)
Age: 14, not a birthday
Location of headband: right upper arm
Last dream: He was forced to watch Hasuki willingly eat Rikka, then his parents, than the rest of his clan members and everyone in Konoha. It was brutal.
What did your character do the last 2 days to (better) prepare for their test? Absolutely fucking nothing. He's at his best when he's not freaking out about stuff, so he just spent a coupla days in the woods, meditating and sleeping mostly.
Goal: What is your character's current goal. Well, winning a fucking fight for once would be sweet.

Name: Koui Nomaru
Team: #1 (look at mah hashtag!) (With Rikka and Baka)
Age: 15, birthday at the 10th of July, together with Rikka
Location of headband: Stashed  somewhere in her bag
Last dream: She found herself running for some unknown creature through a post-apocalyptic version of Konoha, were pretty much everything still was the same, only the people poorly dressed, yellow skies and it looked like a lot of industrial waste was dumped. When she arrived at the cliff, still being followed by the thing: which looked like a woodpecker made of steel (Nomaru has really been into bad robot movies lately) she just kept running, through the air all the way into the clouds, through space and eventually she ended up in a white room filled with zombie-versions of her classmates. Suddenly somebody handed a katana to her and smiled. It was Nabe. "You ready to fuck some shit up?" Chin asked her. With an 'Hells yes!' she pierced the zombie next to her, a boy and his dog whose name she had forgotten. It was the best dream she had in ages.
What did your character do the last 2 days to (better) prepare for their test? Well, absolutely nothing of course. She already did the test once, and passed without too much trouble, she's expecting it to be like that too for this time.
The day before the first part of the Genin exam she mostly slept and went to the extra classes, being 2 days sober.
The day at the beginning at the Genin exam she ended up at Chins dads house, making dinner together. They went to pick up a cat and didn't go to bed at all (mainly because a teacher told her if she failed this thing it would be game over for her), gaming all night, reading the newspaper, watching films and watching a documentary about the economy (which was totally one-sided and funded by people who needed to be brought in good daylight). She only drank one beer at dinner.

Goal: Surviving through the day, not getting her teammates to hate her too much and keeping herself motivated.

Name: Uzumaki Kenshi

Team: 3 (Haruno Tenshi, Hatake Houtarou)

Age: 12, had birthday on April 7th

Location of headband: Right arm just below the shoulder.

Last dream: Kenshi had a dream about what happened to Mana and her dog that day.

He was in the hospital when he decided to go outside. Once outside he would see Mana and Daichi carrying the Uchiha boy. When suddenly a black figure appeared and he would attack the both of them. Kenshi wasn't able to move from that point on. When he tried to talk he would notice that he wouldn't be able to make any sound. He witnessed Mana and Daichi getting attacked without being able to do anything. Once he was finished Daichi would be dead and Mana would be laying on the ground. The black figure would pick up the boy and turn towards Kenshi. He stood there for a moment and then he disappeared. Kenshi woke up shortly after that.

What: The last 2 days were spent reading and practicing some of his jutsu. He wasn't going to let anything happen to his teammates again.

Goal: Protect his teammates, Make sure that he doesn't get send back to the academy again.

Name: Hatake Houtarou

Team: #3

Age: still 14. Hasn't had a b-day yet.

Location of headband: right arm around wrist or somewhat above.

last dream: he was running towards some kind of light. He could choose a path at the beginning, and the path he took was long. Incredibly long. It had a lot of stones on it too. It felt like he could never reach the light with his current path. All he remembered from the other path was how it didn't feel good. It may have been shorter though. The dream ended when he tripped over one and landed on his face.

What: train train and train with his dogs the first day. Second day he went through the jutsu he could use and created a nice order to show what he could do.

Goal: ultimate goal is a peaceful world. Current side goal to reach that one is becoming a genin (although there are more)

Name: Chikamatsu no Mukade
Team: Team Souran
Age: 12 (Birthday September 29th)
Location of headband: Forehead

Last dream: All Mukade remembers is finally being accepted as a Jonin. He'd scored the higher then all other Chunin participating in the exams and was now standing upon a huge stage overlooking a crowd. the whole village was there; The other Jonin who'd passed, none as highly as mukade though, he saw the Kazekage walk over to him and presented him with the Jonin uniform and  congratulations. Mukade looked over the crowd and saw everyone cheering. His farther Souran stood in front, his arms crossed but... He was smiling, and he could swear he saw a tear fall down his cheek. HE WAS PROUD!
Suddenly Garra stepped back and said, "Is there anything you'd like to say, Mukade-kun?" Mukade nodded to him happily and stepped forward. He held up Koe on his arm, but before he could even move his fingers the puppet pronounced, "I am a pansy and a CHEAT!"
His memory of what was said was clouded, but the puppet continued to barate him and insult everyone in the village, quickly the crowd's cheers turned into shouts of anger. Mukade tried to lower and stop Koe but it was glued to his arm. Souran's expression was now one of incredible anger, hate, and disapointment. Suddenly the puppet turned to Mukade, its insect like eyes staring right into Mukade's, "Ohh don't be so down. This isn't the worst thing to happen to you!" It was only then that mukade looked down to realise he'd been naked all this time... and then woke up.

What: Assuming Mukade did not know what this next mission is going to be, he simply honed his skills with the new techniques he'd recently learnt, especially with the new one he'd just invented. As well as giving regular maintenance check-ups to Koe... though that wasn't particularly unusual for him

Goal: To make his father proud.

Name: Sabaku no Asura
Team: Team Souran, I think...
Age: 12. His b-day is October 19th.
Location of headband: On his head, of course. Where else would it go?
Last dream: Oh, man... you cannot picture the meats at this banquet. All of them, every single kind. Pork, beef, every kind of fish, chicken, turkey, duck, deer, you name it, it's here! And Asura is at the center of it all, chowing down on a giant, perfectly roasted cow. All the animals have cuts and slashes in them, and a huge, glimmering katana is impaled in the cow Asura is eating from. He's pretty sure he killed all the animals being cooked and eaten here. All around him are the others from his classes, all enjoying the meat he killed and prepped for them, sometimes toasting his sword prowess.

He wakes up hungry, of course. He also wakes up with a great desire to find a sword like that.

What: While he wasn't on a mission, which was probably something stupid like "Find this cat," he was out in the village searching for a cheap sword he could buy later. Or, better yet, seeking out anything resembling a blade in the trash bins, dumps, and junkyards wherever they might be in or around the village, just in the hopes of finding SOMETHING he could use with his Kenjutsu. He'd "borrowed" a sword in the academy, but had to return it before he graduated...

Goal: Find a freakin' sword!!

Name: Uchiha Torame

Team: Team 3

Age: 9, his birthday was a few weeks before he went to exam class.(would like to know when it was so i can give a precise date)

Location of headband: left lower arm, steel part along side the arm and the ends wrapped around his arm over the steel part, so that there is a small opening in the middle and the konoha sign is still visable, also he can conceal something in the little gap

Last dream: not an unusual dream, he was training with someone who's face he doesnt remember

What: train a lot, second day he also went to see his fathers grave, he cleaned it up and put new flowers into the vase

Goal: become gennin to protect his loved ones

Name: Yamanaka Yorukasa

Team: 2

Age: 12 (no birthday yet)

Location of headband: Neck

Last dream: Yorukasa's last dream was a nightmare of her failing to impress her new team captain and being sent to the academy again. This nightmare kept repeating itself numerous times throughout the night.

What: Yorukasa practised her jutsu again and trained her body a little, before going to bed early to get enough sleep, only to be plagued by nightmares of her failing.

Goal: Yorukasa's goal hasn't changed one bit and still wants to get into ANBU.

Darn it, am I late?

Name: Tenshu Ryochoku
Team: 4
Age: 16, post-birthday for the year
Location of headband: Left leg, slightly below knee
Last dream: All the Tenshu looked him down, he didn't know why but he was under a table listening to the Tenshu council discussing about his ability to do any shit. They decided to just banished him from the clan and after a vote, which everyone voted yes, including his own family members(older brother and older sister, he recognized their voice), and the ground beneath him opened up. He fell, into a pitch black space. He could feel himself falling down but there's nothing around him aside from an never-ending darkness and the light from the hole he fell into. The light got smaller and smaller as he fell deeper and deeper into the void.

For once, time slowed down, insults of his clansmen played around his head. He felt...sad? He hate himself at that moment, for his inability to do any kind of shit. He extended his left hand in a worthless effort to reach for the light, the ever-dimming light, and eventually, he's in of complete darkness. Mixed emotions ran through his mind, he didn't know how to react to this situation. Should he laugh in sadness? Cry out for once? Shout with no purpose? After some consideration, perhaps death was the only escape. He closed his eyes, miraculously knowing that he would hit the ground a few seconds later.

THUM! He hit the ground...and woke up the same time. he was sweating heavily and there's even a line of water down his eyes. He wasn't sure if it was tear or sweat.

What: Same old drill that the Tenshu house ran with him throughout the whole freaking three months. Seriously, Ryochoku was so afraid of this hellish life that he really wanted to graduate for real. He had considered suicide to be an option if he failed again.

Goal: Stay alive until his retirement

Name: Nando Kazuo
Team: Team Souran
Age: 10 (Birthday August 5th)
Location of headband: Waist (As a belt)

Last dream: Fevered dreamings of his recent sickness. He dreamed of his survival exercise, and no matter how much he strained himself to get home, he could neither reach Suna nor gain the relief of collapsing in exhaustion. He woke with a higher fever than usual.

What: Kazuo was advised to refuse the mission entirely for the sake of his deteriorated health, but he spent time reading up on managing the symptoms of his illness, and calmly preparing his seals for field use.

Goal: Overcome his sudden illness, Kazuo is irrationally upset with himself for succumbing to it, and equally upset with everyone around him, regardless of medical training, for not being able to identify and cure it.

Name: Nara Shikataro

Team: 2

Age: 12 (September 12)

Location of headband: shoulder

Last dream: Shikataro was fixing chipped kunai by sharpening them on a whetstone WHEN SUDDENLY BEAR SIZED INVERTABRITES SMASHED THROUGH THE WALL!!!! Shika screamed and threw the kunai, senbon, tools and even the whetstone at the land walking overgrown shellfish. To his shock the beasts' exoskeleton proved to tough to penetrate and they roared in defiance signalling their charge OH NOOO! It was a good thing he, in his spare time, had installed conceiled AUTOMATIC SENBON TURRETS! With a quick smash of a button on the wall the turrets popped out and spat a metric fuck ton of metal spikes into the monsters. EAT DAKKA overgown shrimp. Wallowing in his victory by superior weaponry was short spent as the roof over his head flew off to reveal GIANT MOMMA LOBSTER THINGY!! This was bad, so it was time to use his secret weapon. A GIANT ROBOT BUILT IN A SECRET UNDERGROUND LAB AAAAW YEAH!! Packed with twin co-axial shoulder cannons, arm mounted flamethrowers and EYE LAZORS the giant stood no chance and was roasted into deliciousness and there was roasted lobster for all!! Good work Shikataro!!

What: Shikatar was watching Kaiju monster movies while working on weapon parts, miniature sci-fi models on koeproek chips, shrimp snacks and a sugar rush because his parents were out for the night.

Goal: To own a giant flamethrowing laser shooting pilotable robot, for obvious reasons
