Kemono no Tsume no Jutsu - Claw of the Beast Technique

Why?

Yorukasa thinks the most important and useful weapons are the ones you always carry with you. That means that she thinks it's important to use the tools your body gave you. A lot of animals fight with claws, so why couldn't she do the same?

How?

After finding out about a jutsu that lengthens your hair and uses it as a weapon, Yorukasa became inspired to try something out herself. She copied the seals for that jutsu and sent her chakra to her nails instead of her hair. At first it didn't really go well, causing her nails to only grow up to 30cm, creating Kemono no Tsume no Jutsu, before perfecting it, creating Kemono no Yari.

Description: This technique allows the user to use her own nails as weapons. After forming the needed seals, the user’s nails grow out into blades up to 30cm long, and they will harden to be as hard as a regular kunai. The nails are capable of doing D-rank damage.

When the nails exceed a length of 5cm, it will be impossible to use seals for any other jutsu requiring two-handed seals.
For a chakra cost of 2, the user can let the nails drop onto the ground, to have her own nails return to their normal length.
It is possible to grow the nails any number of fingers, depending on how many fingers the user has on one hand, as the technique only works on one hand at a time.
