"Photo Book"

So this is where we put up "photos" (i.e. drawings) of our characters. And if you drew someone else's then feel free to put that up here as well!

I'll start off by showing you what it looks like when Chouchou is clutching to Hina's back. Chouchou turns her head 180 degrees (she's a puppet, she can do that) and wraps her arms around Hina's shoulders, intertwining her "fingers" to stay put. I say that Hina has pulled her hair out of the way here for the sake of the picture. Normally that would hang a bit around Chouchou (I'd guess), which might look weird... Hehehe. Maybe her hair is between her back and Chouchou, that would make more sense. And less tangling. Oh, I feel like drawing a picture where Chouchou is tangled in Hina's hair now. xD



I, of course, see the things that are wrong in this picture. Anatomical mistakes, both in the human and the puppet, little things that aren't "quite Hina", but you know what? Screw that. I'm just not that good at drawing. And the only way I'll get better is by practicing. Hopefully my drawing will give everyone else courage to put up their work as well.

(Also, the picture is pretty large, but that's because I ballsed it up a little bit. So, yeah. Sorry. Next one is not going to be to frickin' huge.)

I love to draw! As some of you might know, I made the avatars of Suna's team Kazenkou. These are the larger images (though not as large as Hina's  ) and two of the other Suna nin as well.

Only one left to do is Mukade. And then on to group pictures!

So I short of promised Torame to make a new drawing of him since the one from team potato sucked a bit.

I always imagine him a bit... awkward, kinda paranoid and a lost look on his face.. Resulting in:

Torame looks shocked with something.  
Hey look, it's Nomaru!

Ofcourse he looks shocked. He just saw a real girl (Nomaru) for the first time in his life. :p

And Nomarus wearing Combat boots, but that's pretty accurate. :p

Yeah, wearing high heels would have taken impracticality to an entirely new level.

Awesome topic this is. Follow it I must. Perhaps use it in banner I should.

Akira finds a scorpion. For some reason I always manage to make characters look way older than I intend to.

Alright. This is a scene from our current adventure. Hina, Hiten, Akira and Meran are currently on a mission and have collected food so they won't keel over in the desert. Hina's prepared the fish which Hiten is currently cooking, and Hina is now working on more herbs to preserve the other fish.

I know what's wrong with it. I can see, really. The poses were no walk in the park. And I'm currently starting to practice on how to draw cloth in a realistic way. Plus, I forgot to draw Chouchou. (Let's just say she's laying somewhere behind Hina for now. Also, Hair is a bitch, but I'm getting better at it.
But, all that aside, I am super happy with how this turned out! Especially Hina! So excited! JAY SKILL GROWTH!
(I might colour this one later, or at least Hina. If you're wondering what the weird lines on her wrists are, she's wearing fingerless gloves. She's got bare arms. A scarf around her shoulders (which she can tie into a turban of sorts to protect in the desert). A tank top. Poofy pants. And ankle high boots.)

OMG Hina! That picture rocks!  

I honestly love it, by all rights you should be proud. Now I'm wondering what a group picture would look like when you draw it.

Nawh, thanks guys. ^^ And I think I will want to work on a group-photo. That would be a great training for. (Since I want to get better at drawing.)
But, it takes a long time.  (Then again, all the more reason to do it and get better, no?)

Actually, I would not mind to have two..

1) A serious team photo, with combat poses.

2) A picture in their natural habitat. With Meran (and probably Hina) playing a joke on Kazenkou, with Hiten all serious looking, trying to actually pose for the picture and Akira trying to look disapproving of the action, while trying to hide her smirk. ^^

Too bad I draw like shit :S

So this is a very plausible scene (in my head) if Hina and Nomaru ever have a slumberparty or something. This was drawn in a haste, so it's not perfect. (None of my drawing are. Shaddap!)
But, it's as the title says. Hina is trying on one of Nomaru's dresses. I'm sure it was Nomaru's idea. The reason why the dress is so ridiculously short is because Nomaru is a midget. (I have shirts longer than that "dress".) And the reason Hina's boobs don't fall out is because she has not that much going for her in that department.
Also, whoa, ehrmahgehrd, Hina's hair is down. Yes, it's that long. Yes, it's highly unpractical. But it's that long for a reason, not just because.
That's pretty much all I have to say. Oh, just this: poor Hina... xD She looks so uncomfortable!

As I already told you: I LOVE THIS DRAWING.

I can only agree with Nomaru.  

Hina does look very uncomfortable. You captured the emotion well.

I find my own drawings less than perfect as well, Kouhi..
But I've realised that the only way to become better is to keep on practising! Try to draw Kouhi. Start out simple, just showing off her clothes. And my best friend when drawing is the eraser. Really. A good sharp pencil is a close second (otherwise I'd never get something on paper), but, for me, the eraser is unmissable.
But, seriously though. I'm curious as to what Kouhi would wear. ^^ Try it, no one will make fun of you, I swear!
